More than 180 participants registered in the CLAMTEX Virtual Marketplace: Towards Industry 4.0, focused on the textile sector and in which LIASA took part as a speaker. The event took place between January 20 and February 24, 2021, with a total amount of 6 webinars and 6 walking sessions.
The event was organized by the European Strategic Partnership of Clusters for Excellence, CLAMTEX - Cluster management towards excellence in Advanced Manufacturing and Textile Industry -, led by the cluster of advanced textile materials of Catalonia, AEI Tèxtils.
The cluster and all its members played an active role in the Marketplace with a total of 5 organizations presenting at the webinars. At LIASA we participated on February 10 with the webinar 'Robots in the Industry', presenting our strategies for the digitization and introduction of robots in the manufacture of cords, tapes and ribbons. The CLAMTEX Marketplace, which had a total of 35 presentations, was part of the ClusterXchange program implemented by the CLAMTEX project together with the European Economic Interest Grouping EU-TEXTILE2030 (of which AEI Tèxtils is a founding member).
