LIASA has appeared in the media as a result of collaborating with several companies in the sector within the province. Each company contributed in part of the components to manufacture protective health devices and finally donate the material once assembled.
An example of collaboration is the ADZ Nadons project, located in Les Borges del Camp (Tarragona province). This company normally manufactures traditional cloth diapers but currently decided to transform part of its cotton stock into basic masks. LIASA donated the elastic bands cut to size to hold the masks and an industrial laundry in the same area washed, dried and vacuum-packed them (see article: HERE) .

In these cases, LIASA has not only the capability to manufacture elastic bands and ribbons, but can also serve them cut to size in order to reduce sewing times and speed up a production for which every minute counts.
These are days of altruism and every little bit helps!
