The magazine Economía3 has recently published a ranking of the 1000 oldest companies in Spain with a turnover of more than 2 million euros. Thus highlighting their resilience to an environment in a permanent state of change and full of uncertainty and challenges.
In this article, they state that around 20% of the companies that are set up in our country have a life expectancy of less than 1 year, according to data from the National Statistics Institute (INE). This is a determining factor that is closely linked to the much-desired business success.
LIASA, LA INDUSTRIAL ALGODONERA, is placed in the 116th position of the 1000 companies that appear in this article and belongs to the 9.7% that have a trajectory between 100 and 125 years. Founded in 1918, in La Selva del Camp, Tarragona, LIASA, LA INDUSTRIAL ALGODONERA, is managed by the fourth generation of the Cabré family, and is a reference among the main international manufacturers of ribbons and cords.
